Geonsites, Inc provides spill-emergency-response consulting and other services. Hydrocarbon spills can occur at any time and spread quickly into an area of land, which then needs complicated recovery and remediation efforts. Each hydrocarbon-spill incident effects each environment uniquely; however, spills around waterways are much worse, because spill material can easily mix with water, which carries the hydrocarbon-contaminated material to wherever that waterway goes.
List of services:
  • Emergency response management
  • Recovery and Containment
  • Safety permit
  • Site preparation
  • Incident commend
  • oversight
  • Report writing
  • Risk management
  • Assessment
  • Spill control and adjustment
  • Task Management
ArcGIS and Remote Sensing are changing-technical mapping tools, and our team can help you meet and keep up with these challenges. Geonsites, Inc has experts who understand the complexities of using remote sensing along with ArcGIS tools to create maps with environmental features, such as vegetation, contaminated-materials, groundwater areas, contamination soil boundaries, wetlands, rivers, and streams. ArcGIS provides environmental analysis for assessments and investigation sites.
List of services:
  • Mapping,
  • Remote Sensing,
  • Spatial analysis
  • Map editing,
  • Geo referencing
  • much more.
Oil spill incidents can happen to the best firms, but controlling spreading-contaminant material is always challenging, even to the best of firms. Having prepared contingency plans on-hand for emergency response saves time. We can help prepare contingency plans in advance and guide you through EPA spill preparation-requirement rules and compliance. Two examples are creating control points for spills or pipeline breaks and taking Ariel photos (with unmanned aircraft per clients’ request).

List of services

  • Prepare Spill Contingency Plan Documentation

  • Spill-Incident Training

  • Containing and Recovery Operation Training

  •  Spill Preparation Tools

Geonsites, Inc provides remediation investigation (RI) services for core-soil sampling and analyzing hydrocarbon material in the soil. Our experts use quick-soil testing in the field to identify contaminated soil using the Electric Conductivity Meter technique, as one example. Our specialists know how to determine contaminated-hydrocarbon soil for ex-situ excavation projects. We provide complete soil profiling, including sampling, analysis, and classification.

List of services:

  • Soil-Core Sampling

  • Soil Sampling

  • Remediation Investigation (RI)

  • Phase I, II and III

  • Soil Classifying

  • Much More

We provide water-quality sampling and analyses. In the above images, our team is measuring water depth and sampling water quality to monitor potential migrating-contaminated material under a frozen creek in North Dakota. Migrating contaminated material moves faster with moving water and affects groundwater sources. Our team has adapted to working in extremely cold weather collecting water-quality data for analysis, finding the affected areas, and mapping the contaminated-material boundaries.

List of services:

  • Water quality

  • Water Sample

  • Drilling Monitoring wells

  • Ground Water monitoring

  • Water depth

  • Water velocity

  • Much more

To assess public health and minimize the health personnel risks around the site, we collect and monitor air quality data to reduce health risks. Geonsites, Inc also provides air quality sampling services. Our teams are trained how to collect accurate air-quality samples using the latest technology. We use MultiRAE, which is the most advanced device on the market to collect air-quality samples. This device has a multi-gas meter that allows us to determine the air contaminant level and collect samples. Taking air-quality samples in the field minimizes environmental liabilities and the health risks for communities and personnel.

List of services:
  • Emergency response air monitoring
  • Health and safety air monitoring
  • Air sampling
  • And much more

Our experts use an In-situ method of eliminating contaminated material: using fire to eliminates flowing
hydrocarbon-contaminant material under the frozen creek in North Dakota. We manage, control, and assess contaminated material from the point of entry to recovery-contaminant material. Additionally, we investigate and eliminate VOC, create controlled environments, monitor air quality, coordinate air quality, and prevent fire and wildfire hazards by monitoring wind direction: assess conditions and set perimeters. Emergency-response management for hydrocarbon is a complex procedure, but with the right skills, the process can be manageable and cost-effective.

  • Recovery and Containment
  • Safety permit
  • Site preparation
  • Incident commend

  • Risk management
  • Assessment
  • Spill control and adjustment

Wildlife on incident sites need special attention and help readopting or adapting to their environment. When wildlife is affected by hydrocarbon spills, we provide services to help wildlife recover.  We also study the wildlife in spill-site areas. We have a team who specifically helps in wildlife recovery efforts, handling any affected wildlife with care. Our team helps all wildlife (endangered and non-endangered species) while following the Federal Endangered Species Act.

Mission Statement

Geonsites, Inc is a firm that provides complete environmental consulting and services. Our goal is to provide environmental consulting to find environmental solutions. Hydrocarbon spills are unfortunate incidents that involve a complicated process of containing, recovering, remediating, and determining the right environmental solution. We specialize in collecting hydrocarbon-contaminated-site data, using Geophysical Applications and other techniques to monitor, remediate, and assess spill sites.  Our goal is to provide Start-to-Finish environmental consulting for hydrocarbon-contaminated sites. We can guide you through environmental assessments and find effective solutions to help you accomplish your goals and remediate environmental-incident sites. Our priority is to be cost-effective and provide quality-service with site assessments, data collecting, monitoring, and remediating. Our services include Phase I, II or III for site investigation. Our team has worked closely and successfully with a number of oil pipelines, oil drilling wells, refineries, and oil and gas terminals. We also work with construction firms to assess environmental projects for contingency and prevention.

Our firm has experts with varied expertise managing an environmental project, including monitoring, evaluating, and assessing a contaminated site. Areas of expansion are included using a Ground Penetrating Radar System to collect geophysical-subsurface images for contaminated areas, interpret GPR data, manage an environmental assessment, collect remediation data, and create maps of contamination. We mainly focus on collecting,  managing, or creating maps using ArcGIS, Remote Sensing, and Arial Photos. We also provide soil-sampling and short- and long-term monitoring services. We usually conduct long-term monitoring and core-soil sampling for remediation assessment projects. We also provide investigating and creating subsurface maps of contaminated sites. We have a team who been providing environmental consultations for the past seven years.

Geonsites, Inc is a firm that provides exceptional environmental consulting and services. We provide emergency spill-response management, including collecting data for monitoring, evaluating, environmental assessments, and remediating a contaminated site.
