Emergency Response Training Courses and Planning Services

Geonsites provides spill emergency response training courses for emergency response managers and personnel. The courses cover spill emergency response procedures, planning, and preparedness, as well as how to implement containment and recovery operations, select proper personal protective equipment (PPE), and contain and recover spill material, especially in waterways.

Training topics include how to deploy on-water containment boom, select proper recovery control point locations, manage decontamination operational activities, and follow emergency management procedures and site health, safety, and security.

Our consulting, services, and training focus on spill emergency response plans and preparedness. We prepare oil containment and recovery strategy plans, as well as spill prevention, control, and countermeasure (SPCC) plans.

The courses also focus on how to prevent contaminated discharge and release of hazardous materials into the environment, especially waterways. We help our clients prepare spill emergency response equipment for spill response incidents and assist them in selecting proper equipment for containment and recovery operations. Our course attendees have the opportunity for hands-on experience and to conduct spill emergency response training exercises.
